Case study

Timber garden room lit up at dusk with path lights leading from the house

The job

The brief

The homeowners had a timber garden room built as a home office and needed it powered safely, with lighting so the path was usable on winter evenings.

The work

We ran an armoured cable in a trench to a small consumer unit in the garden room, then fitted sockets, a panel heater circuit, data points and low-level IP-rated path lights.

The result

The office has been in daily use since September, and the path lights switch on automatically at dusk.
